Study of Monte Carlo simulation models for various types of polycrystalline materials MORHAC, M., MORHACOVA, E. vol. 46 (2008), no. 6, pp. 361 - 370

Abstract The present paper describes Monte Carlo simulation models aimed for the investigation of various phenomena of grain growth in polycrystalline materials. It covers models including oriented and anisotropic grain growth as well as the development of structures containing the liquid and gaseous phase. Several new Monte Carlo simulation models have been proposed in the paper. Key words Potts model, oriented grain growth, anisotropic grain growth, pore migration, liquid phase Full text (1222 KB)
