The increase of the characteristic stresses of some magnesium materials due to the reinforcements at various temperatures (in Czech) DROZD, Z. vol. 40 (2002), no. 6, pp. 413 - 419
Abstract Magnesium materials - microcrystalline Mg, AZ91 and QE22 alloys - were deformed (Mg in tension, the alloys in compression) at temperatures from 22 up to 300 °C. The same experiments were performed with these materials reinforced by Al2O3 particles or fibres. The increase of the characteristic stresses σ02 and σmax for reinforced materials in comparison with the unreinforced materials is observed. The increase of the stresses depends on temperature. Possible deformation mechanisms are discussed. Key words composite material, magnesium alloys, deformation test, characteristic stresses Full text not available
