The composite model of large strain strengthening of metals (in Czech) LES, P., STUWE, H., P., ZEHETBAUER, M. vol. 33 (1995), no. 6, pp. 384 - 394
Abstract A theoretical model for description of large plastic strain strengthening (including stage IV and V) is applied to Cu and α-Fe polycrystals deformed at low deformation temperatures (T < 0.35 Tm). The calculated curves fit quite well to the experimental data and the physical parameters derived from constants of the model are realistic and agree with experiments published in literature. Deviations of these parameters only occur with very low deformation temperatures (T < 0.16 Tm) of α-Fe where the strengthening is governed by a specific mechanism of screw dislocations.
