Abstract
Stress dependence of work hardening coefficient has been analyzed considering hardening and softening processes occurring by plastic deformation of polycrystals. Cross slip was found to be the main recovery mechanism. Dynamic recrystallization seems to be further softening process at temperatures between 800 and 900 K
