The effect of mechanical milling conditions on the Cu - 5 vol.% CuO.Al2O3 composite properties (in Slovak) OROLINOVA, M., DURISIN, J., DURISINOVA, K., KATANA, V. vol. 33 (1995), no. 4, pp. 243 - 250
Abstract The paper was aimed at investigation of preparation of nanocrystalline powder copper Cu - 5 vol.% CuO.Al2O3 by a modified mechanical-chemical method, analysis of structural characteristics and evaluation of mechanical and electrical properties of the compact material prepared by extrusion of this mixture. The composite material prepared by the mentioned method exhibits high strength properties and good electric conductivity. The optimum use of this material is anticipated in applications which require preservation of these properties, even at elevated temperatures, for example in electrotechnical industry.
