Solubility of titan and hydroxylapatite in biological environment (in Slovak) PALKA, V., KOLENCIAK, V., POSTRKOVA, E., KRSEK, A., INFNER, I., KOERTEN, H. K. vol. 35 (1997), no. 2, pp. 101 - 107
Abstract The paper is devoted to solution study of Ti samples with different surface treatment and samples with two layers ZrO2 + HA-A at Ti substrate when infusion solution was used for testing. The difference between solution of Ti samples with different surface treatment was very small. The lowest solubility had coarse powder and coating HA-B. Solubility of Ti and HA decreases after application of hot air sterilization. Teeth implants used during clinic experiments were in human body for a long time (Ti - 12 years, Ti + Al2O3 + HA-A - 6 years). The implants surface showed dissolution of Ti and HA-A. But implant layer (HA-A) contacted with the bone after 6 years from implantation was not completely removed.
