The properties and structure of hot rolled sheets of the Fe28Al4Cr alloy (in Czech) HOTAR, A., KRATOCHVIL, P. vol. 40 (2002), no. 1, pp. 45 - 52
Abstract The properties and microstructure of iron aluminide Fe28Al4Cr after hot rolling can be modified by heat treatment at 700 or 800 °C and by suitable alloying, for example by cerium. The ductility, hardness and structure of Fe3Al-based alloys with and without cerium addition were determined and compared after hot rolling. The formability of Fe28Al4Cr is compared with steel 12 060 to find suitable rolling temperature.
