Young's modulus and loss factor of aluminium foams from free vibrations of a square plate (in Slovak)

Abstract
The measurement of the complex Young's modulus from frequency response of free vibration of a square plate is shown in this article. The plate is excited with an impact hammer and the frequency response is measured with an accelerometer. The aluminium foams samples were studied using this method.
