Abstract
The paper deals with an analysis of thermodynamic conditions and precipitation kinetics of particles in deep-drawn IF steels microalloyed with Ti and Ti + Nb and in a reference system with Al. Formation of inhibition phases in the steels proceeds within certain temperature intervals depending on the steel chemical composition. The precipitates are: AlN, TiN, TiS, TiC, Ti(C,N), Ti4C2S2, NbC, NbN, and Nb(C,N). Applying the chemical methods of particle isolation, AAS and spectrophotometrical analysis, the total fraction of P particles, the amount and chemical composition of the precipitates in wt. % have been estimated. The thermodynamic solubility equations of AlN and TiN precipitates for the 0, 50 and 100% recrystallized state of IF steel have been derived and their temperature dependence found. The kinetics of particle precipitation is documented by the RPTT kinetic curves of recrystallization and precipitation at 550, 600 and 700 °C. We found that the inhibition system was effective for creation process of {111} < uvw > texture.
