Possibilities of enhancement of mechanical properties of forged sintered materials on the base of Fe - FexOy system (in Slovak)

Abstract
Enhancement of mechanical properties of sintered materials can be obtained by various methods. They are mostly connected with increase of production costs from the point of view of alloying (expensive rare chemical elements), high power consumption and used production technology. The goal of the paper is to describe the first experiment in the study of preparation possibilities of sintered hot forged ferrous material with improved mechanical properties. The alloying as a cost effective method was carried out by admixing of oxide into iron powder. The obtained forged material is characterized by the yield stress of 360 MPa. The results show new reserves in technological steps in preparation of materials with improved properties.
